CheckoutHydraulic Filter Operation Principle
How does the hydrofilter work?
The main principle of operation of the hydrofilter is that it completely extinguishes sparks from the fire. That is, it acts as a spark arrestor. The spark arrestor hydrofilter provides protection against ignition in the ventilation system. Air, hot from an open flame and saturated with combustion products, enters the hydrofilter. Before that, it accumulates in the mounting connection of the hoser and the water filter or in the ventilation umbrella above the grill or barbecue.
Next, hot air with smoke, soot, heat and soot undergoes the following processing stages:
A water suspension suspended in air is created in the first part of the hydrofilter. Water is supplied there under pressure through nozzles. We install brass or stainless steel nozzles to make them last longer. And the hydraulic filter itself and all pipe connections are made of high-quality stainless steel. At this stage, crushing and extinguishing of sparks, cooling of the air mixture, and partial precipitation of fat and soot occur. The pressure of the water coming from the water supply is determined by the manometer.
At the next stage, the air mixture passes through removable mesh cassette filters, where the next stage of cleaning from soot, tar and soot takes place - mechanical cleaning.
And again, the mixture of smoke and air falls under the water curtain - to ensure that the ventilation system is protected from fire. The power of the pump and the pressure created by it are of great importance. Accuracy is important here. Extinction of sparks must be one hundred percent.
Complete cleaning of soot, grease and ash occurs in the part of the hydrofilter filled with ceramic labyrinth filters. Drops of water and fat settle on the ceramic parts. The use of a hydraulic filter-spark extinguisher not only protects against fire, but also allows for less frequent maintenance of ventilation systems, as it significantly cleans the gas mixture that gets inside from grease.
Further, the distribution of the air mixture and water, which flows into the sewer, takes place. And the purified air goes either indoors or outside - depending on the design of the exhaust ventilation. In fully automatic models, a plate drip catcher is provided for this stage of cleaning. And in non-automatic ones, we recommend ordering and installing it additionally, if there is such a need. For example, if the ventilation outlet leads outside almost immediately, and there is an icy "beard" that freezes there in winter. A drip catcher helps to solve this problem.
All parts and parts of hydrofilters are made of stainless steel to minimize the impact of aggressive liquids during operation and washing of the hydrofilter-spark arrester.
With this principle of operation in the hydrofilter:
In order for the hydraulic filter-spark arrester to fully perform the planned tasks, it is necessary to carry out timely maintenance of the equipment - include the washing mode with a special detergent according to the instructions!
