Electrostatic filters

Electrostatic filters

Electrostatic filters are complex industrial equipment that, with the help of high voltage, completely cleans the air from smoke in a restaurant or company. Does not require additional consumables. Not difficult to maintain. Makes it possible to install commercial establishments in residential buildings.

Application of electrostatic filters

The industrial electrostatic filter is used to trap dry and wet particles polluting the air of enterprises. These are pollutants such as microscopic dust, smoke, oil mist, cooking steam and other various pollutants. These filters apply:

  • in ventilation systems of restaurants and enterprises,
  • in the industrial equipment of production enterprises whose technological processes pollute the air,
  • for air treatment (HVAC, AHU).

How does an electrostatic filter work?

Air with smoke enters the device through metal grids that stop large particles of dust and dirt. Small particles larger than 0.01 micron enter a powerful electric field, where they are ionized and acquire a positive electric charge. Then the charged particles enter the compartment, which consists of a series of parallel plates, having different polarity and located alternately at the same distance from each other. Particles that have the same positive polarity as the plates repelled by them stick to the plates that are grounded. In this way, charged particles are retained on the required plates. Deposited particles will remain on the plates until they are washed away during service. Electrostatic filters trap both dry and wet particles. To service electrostatic filters, you should use detergents that do not harm aluminum, because the devices have aluminum parts.
